Sonic launched its first true points-based loyalty program, Sonic Rewards, in April 2026 — and new members get a Welcome Reward on signup: your choice of free medium fries, tots, or a drink. The program is free to join in the Sonic app, earns 10 points per dollar on qualifying orders, and climbs through Member, Star, and Legend tiers with better perks as you visit more.
