Kroger gives away a free grocery item through its "Free Friday Download" — a digital coupon you clip to your free Kroger account, no purchase necessary. Past freebies have included DiGiorno pizzas, Doritos, seltzer, and body wash. It runs on the first Friday of each month (sometimes more), and you have about two weeks to redeem it in store or via pickup.
