What Disqualifies You From a Holiday Sweepstakes?

Check age, location, entry limits, and prize verification before entering a holiday drawing.
You can be disqualified from a holiday sweepstakes for missing the age or residency cutoff, working for the sponsor, exceeding entry limits, using bots, giving false information, or failing winner verification. A holiday sweepstakes is a seasonal prize drawing where winners are picked at random under written entry rules. Those rules decide each entry.
Read the age, location, limit, and verification terms before you enter, because an entry that breaks one term can be void.
Verification note: Program terms and availability can change. This page was checked against linked sources on November 03, 2026.
Are you old enough and in the right place?
Many holiday drawings require entrants to be at least 18 or the age of majority. Disney Streaming Services LLC sets that cutoff in its 2026 holiday entry terms. Alcohol-linked holiday offers can require 21 or older at entry.
Crown Imports LLC states that age cutoff in its Holiday 2026 rules. Location also controls eligibility. Perks at Work limits its 2026 Holiday Raffles to legal residents of the 50 U.S.
states plus D.C. who are 18 or older, according to the sponsor help-center page. Every holiday offer is also void where prohibited, so a state-barred entry fails.
Do you work for the sponsor?
Sponsor employees, contractors, agencies, and their immediate family and household members often cannot win. The Seattle Seahawks excludes directors, officers, employees, advisors, agencies and listed family members from prizes, as stated in its 2026 event drawing rules. This exclusion prevents conflicts of interest.
If someone in your household works for the sponsor or its prize agency, skip that drawing.
Did you enter too often or automatically?
Entries over the stated limit are void. Perks at Work allows one entry per user per weekly period, according to the sponsor help-center page. Crown Imports LLC warns that using multiple email addresses or registrations to gain extra entries triggers suspicion and voiding.
Bulk, automated, bot, script, macro or entry-service submissions are also disqualified.
- Check the entry period and count each entry.
- Use one account, one name, and one email address.
- Do not use autofill bots, scripts, or entry services.
- Do not create a second account after entering once.
Did your entry follow the honesty rules?
False identities, tampering or getting around entry limits can disqualify an entrant. Marek Health may disqualify for multiple identities, false or misleading eligibility information, automated methods or rule violations. The Seahawks rules cancel all entries, including the first entry, when duplicate accounts are used.
That means a second account does not add a chance, it removes the first chance too.
What happens after you are selected?
A selected winner who misses verification forfeits the prize to an alternate. Perks at Work forfeits prizes when winners do not respond, cannot be verified or are ineligible, as described in the 2026 Holiday Raffles rules. Verification often requires an affidavit, release and tax forms.
Keep your contact information current, watch for the notice, and return each form by the stated deadline.
