Uber Eats on Amazon Prime: The $0 Delivery Fee Benefit Explained

Prime now includes a $0 delivery fee on Uber Eats restaurant orders of $25 or more, but only when you order through Amazon. Here's who qualifies, what's still charged, and how it compares to Uber One.
As of November 5, 2026, Amazon Prime includes an Uber Eats perk. U.S. Prime members get a $0 delivery fee on Uber Eats restaurant orders of $25 or more when they order through Amazon.com or the Amazon Shopping app. Amazon says the service reaches nearly ten thousand cities and towns at launch.
It's a useful benefit, but it works differently from ordering in the Uber Eats app. Here's what you actually get, what you still pay, and the fine print worth knowing.
What the benefit includes
- $0 delivery fee on qualifying Uber Eats restaurant orders of $25 or more placed through Amazon.
- No extra cost beyond your Prime membership ($14.99 a month or $139 a year at standard pricing, according to Amazon).
- Launch offer: for the first 14 days, $20 off each of your first two orders of $25 or more. Our step-by-step guide to the $20 off offer walks through it.
- Prime Visa bonus: Amazon says Prime Visa cardmembers earn 5% back on Uber Eats orders through December 5, 2026.
Who qualifies
Amazon says the benefit is available to all U.S. Prime members. That includes the half-price Prime for Young Adults and Prime Access memberships. Uber's FAQ adds that you must be an Amazon Prime member in the U.S. Through Amazon Family, Amazon says members can share the waived Uber Eats delivery fees with one other adult in their household.
How to order
- Visit amazon.com/ubereats, or search "Uber Eats" in the Amazon Shopping app.
- Sign in with your Prime account and complete any permission prompt.
- Choose a restaurant, build a cart of $25 or more, and pay with a payment method saved to your Amazon account.
What's still charged
"$0 delivery fee" means exactly that. It doesn't mean free food or a free order. Uber's FAQ says service fees, taxes, tips, and other applicable charges may still apply. Menu prices and service fees are set on the Uber Eats side, so compare your total at checkout if price matters to you.
What's not included
- Grocery and retail orders. Uber says the launch covers restaurant delivery only.
- Orders placed in the Uber Eats app. You must enter Uber Eats through Amazon for the Prime benefit to apply.
- Orders under $25. Smaller orders don't get the waived delivery fee.
Uber Eats on Amazon vs. Uber One
Uber One is Uber's own paid membership. Uber's FAQ says Uber One benefits don't apply to orders placed on Amazon, and being an Uber One member doesn't affect your Amazon-linked Uber Eats account. In practice, the two run side by side rather than stacking:
| Uber Eats via Amazon Prime | Uber One | |
|---|---|---|
| Where you order | Amazon.com / Amazon Shopping app | Uber Eats app |
| Extra cost | Included with Prime | Separate Uber subscription |
| Order history | Separate Amazon-linked Uber Eats account | Your regular Uber account |
| Benefits stack? | No. Uber One perks don't apply to Amazon orders. | |
If you already pay for Prime and mostly order restaurant food over $25, the Amazon route may make a separate Uber One membership less necessary. If you also use Uber rides, grocery delivery, or smaller orders, check Uber One's current terms before you cancel anything.
Your Amazon orders live in a separate account
Uber's FAQ explains that orders placed through Amazon may use a separate Uber Eats account linked to your Amazon account. That account has its own order history and payment methods, and it isn't connected to an Uber account you already have. Amazon may ask you to confirm permissions again for security. If you're looking for a receipt or need to report a problem with an Amazon-placed order, start from Amazon rather than the standalone Uber Eats app.
Is it worth using?
For Prime members, there's no extra cost to try it, and the launch offer takes $20 off each of your first two orders. Amazon estimates members could save more than $175 a year compared with ordering on Uber Eats directly without Uber One. That estimate is based on Amazon's own order data, and your savings will depend on how often you order. The main habit to build is simple: start restaurant orders from Amazon, not from the Uber Eats app, and keep your cart at $25 or more.
