Compare two August 31 deadlines, prize gaps, and travel costs before choosing a DC-eligible 2026 sweepstakes.
Washington, DC residents can enter two verified 2026 travel sweepstakes on this list: Cutwater Tiki Getaway and Ozama Rum Grand Slam Getaway. Both close August 31, 2026, but their prizes and out-of-pocket costs differ sharply. A sweepstakes is a chance-based promotion.
DC eligibility lets local residents participate, but it does not reserve a prize for the District.
Who can enter from Washington, DC?
Both promotions accept DC residents age 21 or older. The Cutwater Spirits rules allow one entry per person between May 1 and August 31, with no purchase necessary. The Drink 2 Success/Ozama Rum rules accept DC and eligible 48-state residents through August 31.
Entrants need valid government photo identification and must provide personal contact details online. Before entering, check these requirements:
- You are a DC resident and at least 21.
- Your contact information is accurate and monitored.
- You can meet the applicable travel dates and guest restrictions.
- You follow the sponsor's entry method and frequency limit.
What does the Cutwater prize include?
Cutwater offers one prize with a stated value of $10,250. It contains a $10,000 prepaid card, merchandise, and a San Diego tasting-room tour for the winner and three guests. This is not a fully arranged trip.
Cutwater does not separately provide airfare, lodging, meals, ground transportation, gratuities, personal purchases, or taxes. A DC winner should compare those expenses with the prepaid-card value before accepting. Entries can be submitted by QR code or through the Cutwater official entry form.
The sponsor plans a random drawing around September 1, and the odds depend on the number of eligible entries.
What comes with the Ozama baseball getaway?
Ozama's grand prize is a three-day, two-night postseason-baseball trip for the winner and one guest. The guest must also be at least 21. The package includes airfare, hotel accommodations, a $2,000 StubHub card, and a $200 card for incidentals or ground transportation.
Its maximum approximate retail value, or ARV, is $5,800. Travel must occur on sponsor-designated dates between October 23 and October 31, subject to availability. A winner who cannot travel then may forfeit the prize.
The winner also remains responsible for many incidentals and travel-related taxes.
Which promotion fits your plans?
Cutwater may suit entrants interested in the larger stated prize value or a tour for four people. However, the winner must arrange the San Diego travel and account for every excluded expense. Ozama offers more of a packaged two-person trip, including airfare and hotel.
Its fixed late-October window makes availability the key decision before entering. Do not treat Wheel of Fortune's travel promotion as open. Although DC residents were eligible, the Wheel of Fortune/Quadra Productions rules set its final entry cutoff at August 8, 2026.
Anyone entering Cutwater should also be ready to answer a potential-winner notice within 48 hours.
