As of August 9, 2026, the updated Portland travel-sweepstakes list has one verified current entry: Travel Oregon's 2026 Summer Sweepstakes. It offers one Portland package, but it is not limited to Portland residents and does not document a "local winner." A sweepstakes awards a prize through a random drawing rather than a judged competition. Here, "Portland" describes the destination; eligible entrants across the United States and Canada compete for the same prize.
How to enter the current Portland sweepstakes
The entry period runs from April 20 through August 31, 2026, ending at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Entrants may use the online form, certain Meta InstantForms, or a free mail-in method.
The limit is one entry per person and email address. Choose one entry route instead of submitting through multiple channels.

- Submit no later than 11:59 p.m. PDT on August 31.
Who is eligible?
Entrants must be at least 21 and legal residents of the United States or Canada. Residents of Puerto Rico and Quebec cannot participate. Travel Oregon personnel, affiliated parties, and specified immediate-family or household members are also excluded.
Living in Portland or elsewhere in Oregon does not provide extra entries or better odds.
What does the Portland package include?
The single prize includes a $2,246 Ritz-Carlton certificate, two Portland Timbers or Thorns tickets valued from $400 to $800, and a $300 Jake's Famous Crawfish certificate. Travel Oregon lists a total approximate retail value of $2,946 to $3,346 in its prize and eligibility rules. Transportation is not among the listed components.
The winner must pay applicable taxes and any expense the rules do not specifically include. The prize cannot be transferred. Travel Oregon may substitute components, so the final arrangements could differ from the listed package.
Are the odds better for Portland residents?
No preferential odds are listed for Portland residents. The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries, and the odds depend on the total number received. The drawing is expected around September 19, 2026.

Promotions that do not belong on the travel list
