What Winston-Salem trip can you enter?
Visit Winston-Salem advertises its "Not That Salem" Halloween Giveaway as a haunted getaway with historic haunts, storied streets, late-night fun and treats, according to Visit Winston-Salem's Halloween page. The theme centers on Halloween travel in Winston-Salem, not cash or a general vacation. Visit Winston-Salem also lists a free Halloween Itinerary Pass that requires no app.
Checking in earns points and an extra entry in the Halloween Giveaway, according to Visit Winston-Salem's haunted-sites guide. That pass is the only verified bonus-entry path in this guide.
How do you enter without paying?
Visit Winston-Salem's giveaway terms name the sponsor as Forsyth County Tourism Development Authority dba Visit Winston-Salem. The same terms require entry through the giveaway landing-page form, not through Meta, according to Visit Winston-Salem's giveaway terms. Use this entry checklist:
- Enter only through the landing-page form linked from Visit Winston-Salem.
- Do not send payment, card details, or wire transfers to enter or claim.
- Keep a copy of your entry confirmation and the current rules.
What entry limits should you expect?
Free means no payment is needed to submit the form. It does not mean every entrant receives travel. Read the linked terms beside the entry form for current dates, age rules, residency rules, entry frequency, and redemption steps.
If you use the Itinerary Pass, expect check-in tracking for points and one described extra entry.
How do you avoid prize scams?
The FTC warns that real sweepstakes have free prizes and anyone demanding taxes, shipping or processing fees for a prize is a scammer, according to FTC prize-scam guidance. The FTC reports $301 million in reported losses to these prize schemes. Watch for these warning signs: Report suspect messages at ReportFraud.ftc.gov before paying anything.
- A win notice for a giveaway you never entered.
- Pressure to pay fees, gift cards, or wire transfers before delivery.
- Requests for bank logins to release a trip.
