It uses separate concert-ticket drawings, with odds based on the number of eligible entries received. However, the Wolf Trap rules list tickets, parking or lounge access, and a prize pack. They do not include airfare, lodging, or ground transportation, so this is a local-experience giveaway rather than a Washington, DC travel sweepstakes.
Which recent DC giveaways have expired?
The National Geographic Society's museum promotion ended July 5, 2026. It was restricted to residents of DC, Virginia, and Maryland who were at least 18 and submitted a public Instagram or TikTok post. The National Cherry Blossom Festival offered a genuine DC trip with airfare reimbursement, two hotel nights, parade tickets, and a stated value of $5,390.

The D.C. Office of the Attorney General warns consumers not to pay fees, taxes, shipping, insurance, or processing charges to claim a prize. Do not provide bank-account details, and do not trust claims that a government agency oversees the sweepstakes or needs payment.
Before responding to a winner notice, compare it with the notification process in the sponsor's rules. If someone demands money or banking information, end contact and report the incident to the FTC.
