Compare two documented Omaha promotions, check family eligibility, and recognize unsafe prize demands before entering.

No verifiable ranking establishes the "top" Omaha family giveaways, but two documented no-purchase options stand out: Home Outlet's Omaha giveaway and the Nebraska Passport. "No purchase necessary" means you can enter without buying anything, although each promotion still has eligibility and entry rules. Home Outlet is an adult-only sweepstakes with store-focused prizes.

Nebraska Passport is more family-friendly because it has no age limit, includes Omaha stops, and allows separate household members to enter.

Home Outlet's Omaha Grand Opening Giveaway

The Home Outlet promotion ends September 30, 2026. Prizes include a $2,500 kitchen or bath store credit, $1,000 and $500 gift cards, a speaker, a pressure washer, and an ice maker. According to Home Outlet's giveaway terms, no purchase is required and buying something does not improve the odds.

Entrants must be U.S. residents age 18 or older. Employees, former employees, and their relatives are excluded, so children cannot enter.

Adults may use the Grand Opening registration form or scan the participating Omaha store's QR code. Winners receive an email, have seven days to acknowledge it, and must collect their prizes at the Omaha location. Read the privacy and prize conditions before submitting.

Entries become sponsor property, entrants consent to promotional use of their likeness, registration includes future promotional emails, and winners are responsible for prize-related taxes.

Nebraska Passport for Families

The 2026 Nebraska Passport includes Omaha stops such as Fat Brain Toys and Exist Green. The Nebraska Tourism Commission's stop information says stamps require no purchase and have no age limit, making this the more accessible option for families with children. Participants may collect stamps from May 1 through September 30, 2026.

Each person receives one prize entry, and separate household members may submit their own entries. Participants must normally visit each stop in person; when a location is closed, a group selfie can provide visit credit. Youth entrants face one important prize restriction.

Participants under 19 cannot receive lottery vouchers, including through a parent or guardian. However, young people who complete all 70 stops receive a Trail Tales magazine subscription.

Which Option Fits Your Household?

Choose Home Outlet if an eligible adult wants a conventional prize drawing and can collect a prize in Omaha. Its kitchen, bath, gift-card, and household-item prizes may appeal most to homeowners or adults planning improvements. Choose Nebraska Passport if several family members want to participate together.

It welcomes all ages, but collecting stamps requires travel and physical visits rather than a single online form. Before entering either promotion, check:

  • Who may enter and whether age restrictions apply.
  • The final entry or stamp date.
  • Whether a prize requires local pickup.
  • What personal information and promotional permissions the entry grants.
  • Whether taxes or age-based prize substitutions could affect the winner.

Screen Prize Offers Safely

Nebraska law provides a useful checklist even when a promotion looks familiar. Prize promotions must disclose the odds or the factors used to calculate them, the free entry method, material redemption conditions, the sponsor's identity and address, and a verifiable prize value under Nebraska statute 86-228. Pause if a notice says you won a promotion you never entered.

The Nebraska Attorney General's consumer guidance also identifies demands for money, instructions to keep the win secret, and requests for bank or card details as warning signs. Keep the rules and confirmation email until the promotion ends. If someone asks for a fee, wire transfer, bank number, or card details to release a prize, do not pay or provide the information.
