Check dates, age and location limits for three Greensboro-area entries you can submit without a purchase.
Three Greensboro-area entries require no purchase: The Fresh Market giveaway, the PTI giveaway and a 96.9 The Kat concert entry. No purchase necessary means you can enter without buying, for a chance to win rather than a set prize. Today is Oct.
9, 2026, so timing matters for the October windows below. This guide lists what each sponsor asks for, who may enter and how to stay within the stated limits.
Verification note: Program terms and availability can change. This page was checked against linked sources on October 09, 2026.
What No Purchase Necessary Covers
No purchase necessary means buying does not help you enter or win. It is different from a free item, sample or discount. You submit an entry for a drawing held by chance.
Each listing below gives a chance to win, not a set prize. Check age, location, date and entry steps beside each benefit. If you do not meet a limit, skip that entry.
The Fresh Market Guest Appreciation Giveaway
According to The Fresh Market's giveaway rules, the October Guest Appreciation Giveaway runs Oct. 5 through Nov. 3, 2026.
Entry is by commenting on weekly Facebook or Instagram posts while following the brand. The sponsor states no purchase is necessary to enter. It is open to North Carolina residents age 18 and older.
The listed sponsor address is 300 N. Greene St., Greensboro, NC. Entry uses your Facebook or Instagram account to follow and comment.
PTI Run on the Runway Giveaway
According to PTI's 2026 giveaway rules, the Run on the Runway Giveaway requires no purchase to enter. The same rules state payment will not increase chances. Entry gives a chance to win tied to the airport event.
Eligibility is limited to legal residents of North Carolina and Virginia who are of majority age. Employees of the airport authority and their household members are excluded. Check the sponsor's page for the current entry form and deadline.
Zac Brown Band Entry From 96.9 The Kat
According to 96.9 The Kat's event listing, Zac Brown Band plays First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro on Oct. 10, 2026. The venue address is 1921 W.
Gate City Blvd., Greensboro. The listing invites visitors to enter now to win through its contest link. You use the contest link rather than buying tickets to seek the win.
With today at Oct. 9, the Oct. 10 date leaves little time to act.
Read the linked entry terms for age, location and deadline limits before you submit.
North Carolina Raffle Limits and Safe Entry Steps
According to the N.C. General Assembly in Session Law 2009-49, raffles are lawful in North Carolina only for tax-exempt nonprofits or government entities. The law limits each group to two raffles per year and caps cash or merchandise prizes at $125,000.
It requires 90 percent of net proceeds for nonprofit purposes, with violations punished as a Class 2 misdemeanor. This matters because many local drawings called raffles are sweepstakes or giveaways with no purchase needed. Use only the sponsor's post or contest link to enter.
Keep payment and personal details out of the process unless the sponsor's page clearly requires them.
- Check age, location and date on the sponsor's page before entering.
- Enter through the stated Facebook or Instagram post or contest link only.
- Do not send money to claim a prize or improve odds.
- Share only the contact the entry form requests.
