Enter three Durham family offers without buying anything and spot payment traps before you share details.
Durham families have three no-purchase-necessary choices right now: a grocery gift-card drawing, free museum admission days, and a football ticket sweepstakes. No purchase necessary means you can enter without buying anything. Two are drawings decided by chance, while one gives free admission when you meet residency rules.
Entry windows cover October and November 2026. Use sponsor entry pages and refuse any request for payment.

Which Durham family options need no purchase?
Talk It Out NC says its Home-cooked Conversations Grocery Giveaway will award five $500 grocery gift cards to North Carolina families. Free form entries run October 1-31, 2026, with an optional extra entry for tagging @TalkItOutNC, according to the Talk It Out NC fall giveaway page. The Museum of Life and Science offers free admission on Durham Community Days for Durham County residents who show current proof of Durham address.
Visits run 10am-5pm on listed dates only, as described on the Museum Durham Community Days page. Tar Heel Sports Properties states NO PURCHASE NECESSARY for the Tee Kid Sweepstakes at goheels.com/TeeKid through November 13, 2026. Adults 18 and older can enter for four UNC home-game tickets plus a videoboard appearance and a fan pack ($100 ARV).
Travel, meals, and lodging are not included, under the Tee Kid sweepstakes rules.
Will you win a prize or receive admission?
The grocery drawing and the ticket sweepstakes offer a chance to win, not a set gift. Entering puts you in a random drawing. No entry promises a prize.
Museum admission works differently. Qualifying residents receive free entry on listed dates. You must show current address proof and visit during 10am-5pm hours.
Who can use each offer?
Check place and age before you start. North Carolina families fit the grocery drawing. Adults handle the ticket entry for family use.
Durham County residents use museum days. Bring the right proof and plan costs. Carry current Durham address proof for museum check-in.
Arrange your own ride, food, and stay for game day.
How can you enter safely?
The Federal Trade Commission warns that real prizes are free and demands for taxes, shipping, processing fees, or customs duties to claim a prize signal a problem. Pause and refuse payment requests, as explained in FTC advice on fake prizes. If someone demands payment, stop contact and save messages.
Ask a trusted adult or local consumer office for help.
