What Colorado's no-purchase rule means
Colorado law requires sweepstakes materials to display a no-purchase message. It also prohibits sponsors from disadvantaging no-order entries or claiming that a purchase increases the chance of winning, according to Colorado Revised Statutes §6-1-803. That protection does not remove eligibility rules, deadlines, account requirements, or entry caps.
