Use free entry for three Anchorage grocery prizes running into November and avoid fee-to-claim traps.
Anchorage shoppers can enter three grocery-linked sweepstakes with no purchase necessary in early October 2026. The options involve Fred Meyer voting, Costco Shop Cards, and Coffee mate flavor prizes. No purchase necessary means entry is free by the stated method, but prizes are a chance to win, not free items.
All three are open to U.S. residents and run into November 2026. Anchorage use is practical because Fred Meyer and Costco have local stores.

The FTC warns legitimate sweepstakes do not make winners pay a fee, taxes, shipping or insurance to collect. Consumers should never provide bank, credit-card or Social Security numbers to claim, according to FTC Consumer Advice in June 2025. Learn the warning signs on the FTC prize-scam advice page.
Alaska Department of Law warns deceptive mail may impersonate government or familiar businesses. It urges trusting instincts and notes legitimate senders do not hide identity, in a March 10, 2022 press release. Treat mail that hides its sender as a warning sign.
Odds depend on entries, entries are daily-capped, and any pay-to-claim demand signals a problem. If a message asks for payment or bank details to release a grocery prize, stop and do not reply.
