How the spending threshold works
According to ShopRite, shoppers must spend $400 in qualifying purchases on the same free Price Plus card from Oct. 25 through Nov. 26, 2026 for one free holiday item, such as a frozen turkey up to 21 lbs ShopRite 2026 program highlights.
The total must land inside those dates. The purchases must stay on one card. Split spending across cards does not combine.
What counts toward the total?

What if you receive a real gift card?
An earned reward may load as store credit. Federal rules still limit risk on covered store gift cards. According to the Cornell Legal Information Institute, covered funds cannot expire sooner than five years after issuance or last load, and dormancy fees require at least 12 months of inactivity, clear disclosure, and no more than one fee monthly federal store-gift-card rule.
Save the card number, receipt, and promo terms until the balance is zero. Use earned credit before the store redemption deadline, even when the card funds last longer.
