Target Baby Registry Welcome Kit: Requirements, Shipping, and How to Claim

See the item and purchase rules, where to find Target's bonus, and why the free welcome kit still has delivery fees.
To claim Target's Baby Registry Welcome Kit, join free Target Circle, create a baby registry with 10 unique items, and have more than $10 purchased from it. The kit is claimed online as a Target Circle Bonus—not collected in stores—and shipping and handling fees apply. Target describes the welcome kit as a $100 value combining samples with Target Circle Bonus value.
That means recipients should not expect $100 entirely in physical baby products.

Check the eligibility requirements
You must be a Target Circle member with an active Target baby registry. According to Target's Welcome Kit requirements, the registry must contain at least 10 unique items. More than $10 must then be purchased from the registry.
The registrant or another shopper may make the qualifying purchase, but spending exactly $10 does not satisfy a requirement stated as "more than $10." Target restricts eligibility to active baby registries created after August 15, 2023. A registry that already received a previous welcome kit cannot claim another through the same offer.
How to claim the kit online
Target automatically adds the Welcome Kit offer to the registrant's Target Circle deal list when the baby registry is created. Completing the requirements does not finish the claim process, however; the registrant must also accept the bonus. Use this sequence: Target says the issued bonus appears on the baby registry dashboard, so the app or website is the place to check—not a store's customer-service counter.
See Target's online claiming instructions for the current process.
- Join Target Circle and create a baby registry.
- Add at least 10 different items to the registry.
- Have more than $10 purchased from the registry.
- Allow 24–48 hours after that purchase for the bonus to be issued.
- Open the registry dashboard in the Target app or on Target.com.
Is the welcome kit completely free?
The kit itself is described as free, but delivery is not necessarily cost-free. Target states that shipping and handling fees apply, so review the charge shown before completing the order. There is also a purchase condition before the bonus becomes available.
Although that purchase can be made by someone else, the welcome kit is not a no-purchase-necessary offer because more than $10 must be bought from the registry.
What does the advertised $100 value include?
Target describes the welcome kit as a $100 value made up of samples and Target Circle Bonus value. The stated amount therefore does not mean the shipment contains $100 in full-size merchandise. Anyone deciding whether to qualify should weigh the samples and bonus against the required registry purchase and delivery charges.
Target also limits the offer to one kit per year, and registries that previously claimed a kit are excluded. If the bonus has not appeared, first confirm that the registry has 10 unique items, the qualifying purchase exceeded $10, and 48 hours have passed since that purchase.
