Why December has no stamp reward
The old buy-stamps-for-a-free-footlong track was discontinued beginning April 1, 2026, with remaining stamps forfeited. That change left a points-only program for December 2026, according to Tasting Table's February 2026 report. Do not save stamps for December.
Do not expect a fourth-footlong credit to appear after sandwich purchases.
How points become food money
Subway Cash is the app balance used toward food and beverages. Subway states members earn 10 points per $1 and redeem 400 points for $2 in Subway Cash. A $40 sandwich-and-drink spend equals 400 points.
That equals $2 toward a later food or beverage purchase.

What are the point limits?
Points stretch food dollars, but the math is small. Each $1 earns 10 points, so each dollar earns about 20 cents back once points reach a 400-point block. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or converted to gift-card balance, under the Sub Club terms.
They work only as Subway Cash in the program.
Who gets free chips on Fridays?
Higher-spend members have one extra December food rule. All-Star members who spend $400 annually receive free chips on Fridays with any purchase, in a Subway announcement carried by the Franchising.com notice. The chip benefit requires an app purchase that Friday and remains subject to terms.
