Radio City Christmas Spectacular: Free Preview Options?
Watch the free rehearsal clip of "Ring," then compare paid ticket limits and concession savings before you buy.
There is no free full performance of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes is the holiday stage show at Radio City Music Hall, and free preview options are limited to rehearsal videos. MSG Entertainment states the 2026 run lasts November 4, 2026 to January 4, 2027 with 230 performances, the MSG Entertainment season announcement the most since 1933.
That schedule matters because preview video is already available before opening. Readers who want to attend in person need a paid ticket.
Verification note: Program terms and availability can change. This page was checked against linked sources on November 02, 2026.
Is there a free performance?
The Rockettes calendar lists paid, digital-only tickets subject to availability, with opening-performance prices at $60-$315, a 14-ticket limit per purchaser, and a 90-minute show with no intermission, the Rockettes 2026 calendar. No free full-show preview performance is listed on that sales path. That leaves a clear choice.
Watch the free video to preview the style, then decide whether to buy seats for your date.
What free video can you watch?
Playbill published rehearsal footage and photos of the new 2026 tap number "Ring" plus "New York at Christmas" ahead of the November 4 opening, the Playbill first-look report. The footage shows rehearsal staging rather than a full performance. Use it to check costumes, tap staging, and large-group formations.
It helps families judge interest, noise, length, and timing before spending on tickets.
Do card benefits make it free?
Chase cardholder benefits for the show are preferred seating access and 20% off food and non-alcoholic concessions, not free tickets, requiring Chase-card purchase generally 7 or more days before showtime, the Rockettes Chase Benefits page. The food discount does not reduce the ticket price. Treat the benefit as a small concession saving.
The ticket itself remains a paid purchase.
How should you plan?
Check your date early because sales depend on availability. Decide group size before you start checkout. Watch the rehearsal clip first so children know what to expect.
