These are attendee distributions, not contests with published lists of local winners. A product giveaway distributes a physical item to attendees or selected entrants.

Upcoming Baltimore giveaways
The Baltimore Orioles scheduled a Pete Alonso bobblehead giveaway for Aug. 22 against Tampa Bay. The Orioles' 2026 announcement identifies it as a stadium gate promotion, not a drawing.
On Aug. 20, UEmpower of MD will distribute backpacks and school supplies from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
at 424 S. Pulaski St. The organization says everyone is welcome, but supplies are limited, according to its Back-to-School Giveaway event page.
Visit Baltimore also lists a free backpack-and-school-supplies cookout for Aug. 22. The Hit Me With Music Foundation event runs from noon to 5 p.m.

How the Orioles giveaway works
The bobblehead is available to ticketed fans who attend the Aug. 22 game. Orioles rules generally limit gate items to one per ticketed person present and distribute them from gate opening while supplies last.
Baltimore residency does not qualify someone for an item or reserve one. Most fans should arrive early, carry their own valid ticket, and expect distribution to stop if the available inventory is exhausted. An exception applies to eligible Full-, Half-, and Partial-season Birdland Members using tickets from their original plans.
They can receive guaranteed gate items at Gate C through the fifth inning, subject to the Orioles' membership rules.
Are there published local winners?
The verified giveaway events above do not select winners. Attendees receive products through gate or community distribution, so organizers may never publish recipient names. Maryland Lottery records provide a different example of a named Baltimore winner.
Anita Boyce of Baltimore won a June 23, 2026 "Book of Scratch-Offs + $3,500" prize, according to the Lottery's past-drawings record. That was a second-chance Lottery promotion, not a free product giveaway. Two other 2026 promotions have ended.
The Orioles' City Connect jersey sweepstakes accepted online entries from April 10 through April 17 but did not publish a winner on its page. THB's Maryland-only $50 gift-card social giveaway ran from May 19 through June 1 and required entrants to be at least 18.
Check a promotion before entering
Rules differ between random sweepstakes and attendee giveaways. Maryland Attorney General guidance says a legitimate sweepstakes must provide an equal no-purchase entry method and disclose the odds; those requirements do not make a ticketed stadium distribution open to non-attendees.
- Confirm the closing date, age requirement, residence restriction, and entry method.
- Treat "while supplies last" as a real limit, not a reservation.
- Never pay supposed taxes, shipping, or processing fees to claim a prize, as advised in the Attorney General's sweepstakes guidance.
