When and where is Petsgiving?
Petsgiving is scheduled for Nov. 21-22, 2026 at select Petco stores nationwide. Petco said via PR Newswire that participating stores will serve pet nutrition samples during the two-day event in the holiday campaign release.
The event is a free in-store tasting, not a national mail-in sample offer. Shoppers must use Petco's Store Events page to find a participating location before visiting. Dates and participation vary by store.
What can pets sample?
The tasting focuses on fresh-frozen nutrition, freeze-dried raw bites and meal toppers. Named brands include Hill's, Ollie and Badlands Ranch. Petco frames these options as healthy alternatives to sodium-heavy human table scraps.
The samples suit pet families who want to try new foods without buying a full bag first. Availability may differ by location.
How do free Santa photos work?
Select Petco stores will offer free pet photos with Santa on Dec. 12, 2026. Petco said via PR Newswire that the photo-op returns as an ultimate holiday moment for pet families in the holiday campaign release.
All Petco locations will also have a "Naughty vs. Nice Meter" photo backdrop. It gives shoppers a holiday card and social post option where Santa is absent.
The Santa photo itself is limited to select stores.
What should you check before you go?
