Boise pets can get birthday points, treats, and walk-day freebies through these verified 2026 options.
Boise pet owners have three verified 2026 options for pet product giveaways: PetSmart Treats Rewards birthday points, Petco Perks birthday treats, and on-site vendor giveaways at the See Spot Walk. What birthday rewards can Boise pets get?
PetSmart Treats Rewards gives members 1,000 limited-time bonus points worth $2 plus one-time 2x points on treats during a pet birthday or gotcha month after the date is saved, according to PetSmart in the birthday and gotcha gift guide. The birthday points arrive for that month only and the treat points apply once. Petco Perks free tier includes a yearly birthday treat for the family pet, plus 3x points on Petco brands and personalized offers, according to Petco corporate in the Perks fact sheet.
Boise members use the same national benefit in store or in the app.
How do you qualify for the pet birthday treats?
PetSmart Treats Rewards enrollment is free for U.S. residents age 18 and older, with one account per person, according to PetSmart in the Treats Rewards FAQs. Members also receive members-only pricing and free shipping on select orders over $49.
Petco requires a completed pet profile with birthday information plus opt-in to marketing emails to receive the pet birthday treat, according to Petco in the Perks terms page. Coverage is limited to three pets without Premier and all enrolled pets with Premier.

Where was the local in-person freebie event in 2026?
Idaho Humane Society held its 34th See Spot Walk on Oct. 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
at Julia Davis Park, 700 S Capitol Blvd, Boise, according to RunSignup in the 2026 race information listing. The schedule included a 1-mile Greenbelt walk, dog contests, and an Alumni Pet Parade. Vendors and giveaways plus food trucks were advertised after the walk, and registration included the event T-shirt with limited hoodies, so attendees could receive pet freebies on site.
This was the only Boise-specific, in-person giveaway in the verified 2026 set.
What limits should you plan for?
PetSmart birthday points are limited-time and valid only that month. Petco birthday gifts vary and may be emailed, mailed, or app-delivered, so members must activate and check accounts promptly rather than expect a fixed product. That means a Boise winner should save dates early, watch every delivery channel, and redeem PetSmart points before month-end.
Keep the pet profile current if a birthday treat does not appear.
