Panera Rewards: What the App Actually Gives You Free
Turn Panera points into free bagels, bakery treats and entrees, plus birthday and delivery perks.
MyPanera, Panera's free loyalty program, gives members free bakery items, entrees, birthday treats and delivery savings through the app. Members earn points on food and drink purchases and use them for items from bagels to full entrees. Enrollment is free through the Panera app or panerabread.com, with no minimum purchase to join and earn.
Points accrue on eligible orders, and separate member offers cover new joiners, birthdays and delivery.

How do points become free food?
Members earn 10 points for every $1 spent on eligible food and beverage purchases under the August 19, 2026 relaunch, according to Panera Bread in its August 2026 points announcement. Only eligible food and beverage purchases earn points. Redemptions start at 250 points for a free bagel or mini bakery treat and go up to 2,000 points for a free whole entree of the member's choice.
A regular buyer might redeem a low-point bakery item first, then save toward an entree.
What do new members get?
New members receive one free pastry, bagel or sweet with any purchase at participating cafes, with a maximum value of $4.59 and valid for 60 days after loading. Members also receive free delivery on orders of $25 or more after discounts and rewards, excluding taxes, fees and charges, at participating cafes, according to Panera Bread in its current MyPanera details.

What birthday treats are free?
Members who saved a month and day for their birthday get a no-purchase-required reward for one individual bakery treat, including bagel, cookie, brownie, muffin, scone, pastry or sweet, valid for 7 days, according to Panera Bread in its MyPanera points terms. No purchase is needed to use that bakery reward. Members who reach MyPanera+ by spending $300 in a calendar year get a free birthday You Pick Two meal, with a maximum $18 discount, limit one use, selected when ordering, according to Panera Bread in its subscription details.
The higher-tier birthday meal is separate from the bakery treat.
What limits affect freebies?
Only one reward may be redeemed per transaction, and banked rewards generally expire after 60 days. Members must time redemptions and cannot stack multiple freebies in one checkout.
