Mail-In Entry Giveaways: How to Enter Without the Internet

Learn what to write on the card, where to send it, and which current sweepstakes still accept postal entries.

Mail-in entry giveaways let you enter a sweepstakes by postal mail instead of using the internet. A mail-in entry is a hand-written card or postcard mailed to the address named in the sponsor's rules. This path suits readers who share a device, avoid online forms, or want to skip donation prompts.

You still have a chance to win, not a promised prize, and you must follow format and deadline details.

Is mail entry free?

Real sweepstakes must be free and decided by chance. According to the Federal Trade Commission, it is illegal to require payment or purchase to enter or to improve odds of winning Federal Trade Commission guidance on prize scams. That protection covers mail entries too.

Mail materials must tell you that no purchase is necessary. A purchase or contribution will not improve your chances. Read that notice before you mail anything.

What do you mail and how?

The Noxgear example shows the usual pattern. According to Noxgear's rules page, the Run of a Lifetime Sweepstakes 2026 runs October 16, 2026 to November 11, 2026 and gives 25 entries per mail envelope sent to Noxgear Run of a Lifetime 2026 Entry, 966 Proprietors Rd, Worthington, OH 43085 Noxgear rules and entry page for the 2026 sweepstakes. Use only the address in the current rules for that promotion.

For that entry, hand-print the requested details on a 3x5 card and mail it in its own stamped envelope. The requested details are name, mailing address, email, phone, and birthdate.

  • Write one card per envelope unless the rules allow more
  • Use the exact card or postcard size named in the rules
  • Mail before the postmark and receipt deadline
  • Keep postage proof until winners are announced

Is there a postcard option now?

Yes. According to The Conservation Fund, its Backcountry Expedition Sweepstakes runs October 1 to November 16, 2026 and accepts postcard mail entry with hand-printed name, address, and optional email and phone, postmarked by November 16, 2026 The Conservation Fund 2026 rules for the Backcountry Expedition Sweepstakes. Follow its card format, not the card format from another sponsor.

Mail entrants in that promotion receive the same odds as online or donation entries. A contribution does not improve chances of winning. That is stated in the same rules.

Do all large giveaways accept mail?

No. Some promotions accept online entries only. According to HGTV, its Dream Home 2026 Giveaway, December 16, 2025 to February 13, 2026, no longer accepts mail-in entries HGTV Dream Home frequently asked questions.

Check the current rules before you stamp an envelope. Confirm the mail address, card or postcard format, one-card-per-envelope rule, and postmark and receipt deadline.
