As of August 31, 2026, only one clearly current, official Corpus Christi raffle could be verified. It is the Astros Foundation Share2Care 50/50 raffle at Corpus Christi Hooks home games. A raffle is a ticket-based drawing for a prize.

The current Corpus Christi raffle
The Astros Foundation Share2Care 50/50 selects one winner at each Hooks home game at Whataburger Field. The winner receives half of the raffle's net proceeds. Tickets are sold in person during games, and entrants must be at least 18.
The winner must present the physical ticket and identification within 30 days; otherwise, the prize is donated to the Foundation, according to the Hooks/Astros Foundation Share2Care page and rules. The Hooks contest is not a paid raffle
The Hooks also have a 2026 "Bring Home the W" promotion with chances to win Whataburger for a year, seats, parking, and meals. It is a contest tied to Hooks wins, not a paid raffle, so it does not belong on the active-raffle list. Its final home game is September 6, 2026, according to the Corpus Christi Hooks promotion page.

Why Hooked on Padre is excluded
The 2026 "Hooked on Padre" firearm raffle is no longer an available entry opportunity. Its sales page scheduled the drawing for July 25, 2026, and now marks raffle tickets unavailable or sold out. Because August 31 falls after that drawing date, readers should not treat the page as a current offer.

How to check a Texas raffle before paying
Texas restricts charitable raffles to certain qualified religious societies, volunteer fire or EMS organizations, qualifying long-standing nonprofits, and some professional-sports charitable foundations.
