How to Track Holiday Sweepstakes Deadlines in One Place

Track each holiday cutoff with its time zone in one calendar and set two reminders before it closes.
To track holiday sweepstakes deadlines in one place, keep a single calendar or sheet with one row per sweepstakes. Record the exact cutoff with its time zone, eligibility, rules link, and advance reminders. A sweepstakes is a free promotion decided by chance.
Each sponsor sets its own cutoff clock and time zone, so scattered end dates cause missed entries.

Why scattered dates cause misses
Holiday promotions overlap from fall through New Year. Without a central list, you must recheck each sponsor page for closing times. A single view lets you sort by closing date and see which entry closes next.
It also keeps eligibility notes beside each date, so you skip promotions you cannot enter.
What to save for each cutoff
Create one calendar event or sheet row per sweepstakes. Use the sponsor wording for the cutoff, including AM or PM and ET or PT. Set two reminders for each event.
The early reminder leaves time to fix email validation or entry errors.
- cutoff date plus time zone, copied from the sponsor
- age, residence, and exclusion notes
- rules link for rechecking details
- reminders seven days and one day before close
How do time zones change what you see?
Google Calendar Help explains that Calendar shows each event in local time and converts stored events through UTC in its time-zone help. You can also set a separate event time zone and travel-aware device setting. Use that event time-zone field for each cutoff.
Enter ET for an ET cutoff and PT for a PT cutoff, then check the time on your phone. That step prevents a 9 PM PT deadline from looking like 9 PM ET. It matters in December when evening cutoffs cluster.
Which cutoffs should you log today?
Crown Imports LLC lists Corona's Holiday 2026 Sweepstakes from 10:00 AM ET Nov. 2 to 11:59 PM ET Dec. 31 for age 21+ U.S.
residents in the Corona Holiday rules page. Log the closing time exactly as ET to avoid a three-hour mistake on the West Coast. Peet's Coffee lists its Holiday Giveaway from 5:00 AM PT Aug.
3 to 11:59 PM PT Dec. 13, 2026 for U.S. residents age 19+ excluding Rhode Island and Tennessee in the Peet's Holiday terms page.
Log the PT cutoff exactly as PT, since it closes earlier than the New Year cutoffs. The Federal Trade Commission states legitimate sweepstakes are free and decided by chance, and payment cannot be required in its prize-sweepstakes guidance. Treat each listing as a chance to win, not a promised item, and keep the no-purchase entry method beside the date.
Set reminders for Dec. 6 and Dec. 12 to leave time for entry.
