How to Track Daily Entry Deadlines Across Giveaways

Use sponsor time zones to track daily entry cutoffs and avoid missing each valid entry day.

Track daily entry deadlines by logging each cutoff time, time zone, and entry limit, then entering before that time each day. A daily entry deadline is the sponsor's stated time when one entry day closes and the next opens. Sponsors use different clocks and limits.

One entry chance may reset at midnight Eastern while another uses weekly windows. A short log prevents missed days.

Check the sponsor clock first

Coca-Cola allows one entry per person per day for its Daytona 500 Flyaway Sweepstakes, according to Coca-Cola's Daytona entry rules. Coca-Cola defines that day as 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Eastern Time. Enter before that Eastern cutoff even if local time is earlier. That Daytona entry period runs 10:00 a.m.

ET July 15, 2026 through 11:59 p.m. ET December 31, 2026, according to the Daytona closing-date notice. Track the final cutoff in Eastern Time, not local midnight.

Set a reminder for early evening Eastern on the last day.

Learn whether the limit resets daily or weekly

Coca-Cola uses eleven weekly entry periods for its 2026 hockey sweepstakes, according to Coca-Cola's hockey sweepstakes rules. Each period runs 12:00 a.m. ET Friday to 11:59 p.m.

ET Thursday. Entrants may submit one entry per period, and the schedule ends November 29, 2026. A weekly limit changes tracking.

You need one timely entry per Friday-to-Thursday block, not one per calendar day. Missing Friday still leaves days to enter that same block. Log the reset weekday beside the time.

A Friday reset is easy to miss on a holiday weekend.

Build a tracker you will check each day

Keep one simple sheet for all open giveaways. Sort by cutoff time so the earliest Eastern deadline sits at the top. Review it at the same time each day.

Enter early, then mark the box. Early entry avoids late-day delays and time-zone mistakes.

  • Reset time with time zone, such as 11:59 p.m. ET

Keep entries free and valid

The FTC advises legitimate sweepstakes are free and decided by chance, according to the FTC's consumer advice on prize scams. Never pay or buy to enter or to improve odds. A payment request is a sign to stop.
