Detroit grandstand seats are still on sale, with past New York drawings showing entry steps and limits.
Enter Thanksgiving parade giveaways through the sponsor's listed entry page or post before the stated deadline. Use only the required method, meet age and residency limits, and respect the one-entry rule when stated. Each drawing offers a chance to win, not a free benefit.
As of November 3, 2026, the New York sponsor windows below have closed, while paid Detroit grandstand seats remain available for the November 26 parade.

Do you need a ticket to watch?
According to Macy's, New York sidewalk viewing is free on a first-come basis along the 2.5-mile route. Its limited grandstand seats are invite-only and not sold to the public, as explained in Macy's route guide. That split shapes your choice.
If you want a New York seat without an invitation, a sponsor drawing is the path, not a ticket counter.

Lindt USA described the prize as a three-day and two-night New York trip for four, including four Uptown Grandstand tickets on Central Park West. Entry was at 71st Street, with a suggested 6:00 a.m. arrival and seating not held after 7:30 a.m.

The Parade Company sells Detroit reserved grandstand seats for $65-$75 online through Nov. 23, 2026 or sellout, with Step-Off seats listed at $67.60, according to the Detroit grandstand listing. Buying is direct, while drawings offer only a chance.

How did radio call-in drawings work?
WJR's published November 2025 contest rules entered callers who dialed 800-859-0957 after the cue and reached caller 9. The prize was four Section 106 Stepoff grandstand tickets, with no purchase needed. That format rewards speed and timing.
