How Many Sweepstakes Can You Enter in One Day?

Learn how per-day entry limits work across drawings so every entry you submit stays eligible.
You can enter as many different sweepstakes in one day as you choose, as long as you stay within each sponsor's daily limit. A sweepstakes is a prize drawing where winners are picked by chance, and there is no single federal daily cap on different drawings. Your daily total depends on how many drawings you enter.
Each sponsor sets its own per-person, per-day or per-period entry limit in its published rules, as Enteractive Solutions explains in its 2024 compliance guide. Read each limit before you start.

Why no single number applies
Different sponsors run separate drawings with separate rules. One sponsor may allow one entry per day, while another allows one entry per week or per promotion. That structure means ten entries in a day can be fine if they go to ten drawings that each allow one daily entry.
It can also be too many if they go to one drawing that allows only one. Check the entry-limit section for every drawing you join. The sponsor's rules page controls, not a general daily allowance.
What a one-per-day limit looks like
A daily limit caps repeat entries in the same drawing. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment used this format for its Disclosure Day Sweepstakes, with one entry per person per day and a maximum of 31 entries for July 21-Aug. 21, 2026, according to the Universal Pictures Home Entertainment rules page.
Under that format, one entry each day keeps you eligible through the period. A second entry on the same day does not add another chance. Extra entries beyond one per day were void under those rules.
The count resets the next day.
When several entries can share one day
Some drawings group entries by week or quiz day rather than calendar day alone. NTVB Custom Media allowed one entry per person for each weekday Pop Quiz, up to five entries per weekly ReMIND drawing, according to the ReMIND magazine rules page. Those rules also permitted submitting several days' quizzes on the same day.
A reader could enter Monday's and Tuesday's quiz in one sitting, with each counting for its own quiz day. That flexibility still has a ceiling. The weekly drawing accepted up to five entries, one for each weekday quiz.
How to stay within the rules
Extra submissions do not help when a limit applies. Excess, automated, or multi-identity entries can be disqualified under the same ReMIND rules. Legitimate drawings also stay free to enter.
The Federal Trade Commission states that real sweepstakes are decided by chance and that payment or purchase cannot be required to enter or improve odds, in its FTC consumer advice on prize promotions. A chance to win is not the same as receiving an item.
- Read the limit, dates, age, and location terms first.
- Track each drawing, date, and entry count.
- Use one name, email address, and account per drawing.
- Skip bots, alternate identities, and extra forms.
