Learn how to join, apply for individual tests, improve product matches, and handle reviews and disclosures.
To apply for free product tests from Home Tester Club, create a member account, complete your profile, and apply separately to open campaigns. Registration gives you access to the product-testing community, but it does not automatically enter you in every test. Home Tester Club connects consumer products with members who agree to use them and provide honest feedback.
Its U.S. site describes membership and product testing as free.

Create your account
Start on the U.S. Home Tester Club site and choose the option to join. The email registration page asks for your name, email address, password, and agreement to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
After registering, complete your member profile. Home Tester Club uses profile information when deciding which consumers may be relevant for particular products.
Apply for individual product tests
Joining the community is only the first step. Members must apply for each campaign that is currently open rather than submitting one general application for every future product. The practical process is: Apply only when the product fits your household and habits.
Accurate answers help the platform match products with consumers who can provide useful feedback.
- Sign in to your account.
- Complete and update your profile.
- Check for open product tests.
- Apply to each test that interests you.
- Answer any product-specific prequalification questions honestly.
How testers are selected
Home Tester Club says it considers member profiles and campaign-specific questions when selecting participants. Its FAQ explains that these details help match products with relevant consumers. Selection is limited by the number of products available.
Creating an account, receiving an invitation, or applying for a campaign does not mean you will receive the item. A detailed profile may improve the quality of your matches, but it cannot remove the supply limit. Check open campaigns and recruitment emails regularly so you do not overlook an application opportunity.
What happens after selection
If you receive a test product, use it as directed by the campaign and give considered feedback. Home Tester Club expects honest opinions, including negative feedback when that reflects the tester's experience. Do not treat a free item as payment for praise.
The Home Tester Club Terms and Conditions say the community wants both positive and negative opinions. Members can also earn points through profile completion, product tests, reviews, and community participation. The site says its 20 most active members each month receive invitations to an exclusive bonus-product test, but an invitation still should not be confused with a guaranteed product.
Disclose free products when posting elsewhere
If you discuss a test product outside Home Tester Club, clearly state that you received it free. The Federal Trade Commission's disclosure guidance says a free product can create a material connection that readers should know about. Place the disclosure where people can easily notice and understand it.
A plain statement such as "I received this product for free to test" clearly identifies the relationship.
