Holiday Giveaways in Aurora, CO: Updated 2026 List for Local Winners

Check five verified Aurora-area opportunities, with deadlines, entry limits, prize terms, and account requirements.
Aurora does not yet have a verified 2026 year-end holiday giveaway list. As of August 28, 2026, current sources confirm one Halloween contest and four other local or locally relevant reward opportunities. Only the Halloween contest is explicitly holiday-themed.
The remaining programs appear here because they offer prizes, credits, or drawings with 2026 deadlines that may interest Aurora readers.
Verification note: Program terms and availability can change. This page was checked against linked sources on August 28, 2026.
Why the 2026 holiday list is limited
The City of Aurora's holiday-activities page, posted December 3, 2025, covers the 2025 season rather than a 2026 winter giveaway schedule. The City of Aurora holiday page therefore cannot confirm Christmas or other year-end giveaways for 2026. This is a running list, not a comprehensive holiday calendar.
It includes only opportunities documented by current primary sources, and not every promotion is restricted to Aurora residents.
Halloween on Havana costume contest
On Havana Street lists a free Halloween on Havana event for October 24, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It takes place at the Aurora Police District 1 Substation and Gardens on Havana.
Costume-contest entrants must: The contest offers more than $720 in gift cards and candy prizes. Adult, child, group, and pet categories include $100, $50, and $30 awards, according to the Halloween on Havana rules and prize details. Winners need not remain at the event and should be contacted by October 30.
- Attend in costume.
- Trick-or-treat during the event.
- Complete a photo waiver and contact card.
Aurora Water credit and rebate drawing
The Water-wise Passport provides the list's most predictable benefit. Aurora Water customers can earn a $50 future-bill credit by completing four listed water-wise activities and submitting the online passport by December 31, 2026. The same program includes a chance to win a boosted grass-replacement rebate worth up to $15,000.
That drawing has stricter conditions: passport completion plus leak-alert and Know Your Flow enrollment by July 1, followed by water use within the recommended amount through 2026. The City of Aurora Water-wise Passport page explains both benefits. Because July 1 has passed, readers who missed those drawing requirements cannot newly satisfy the stated deadline.
The December 31 passport deadline for the $50 bill credit remains separate.
Three additional 2026 prize opportunities
Visit Aurora's Cheers Aurora program requires participants to collect every participating-brewery badge before redeeming a prize and entering quarterly drawings. Q3 entries close September 30; listed prizes include apparel, mini-golf or bowling, and a $50 brewery gift card. See the Visit Aurora program details.
Partner Colorado Credit Union is accepting entries through October 10 for one Broncos–Raiders watch-party prize described as worth $2,500. Entrants must be at least 18 and may enter once. The credit union's giveaway terms say no purchase is necessary, although the promotion is tied to opening a new checking account.
E-470 advertises $600 in prizes with winners selected quarterly. The general public may use an alternate entry form, but toll-credit winners need a good-standing ExpressToll account and a $35 prepaid-toll deposit. Readers without that account should use the alternate method described in the E-470 contest details.
