Fremont, CA Product Giveaways Near Me: Where to Find Legit Deals
Get free birthday treats, beauty gifts, and compost in Fremont, plus a quick check for fake prize fees.
Fremont readers can find legit product giveaways in three verified places: participating Starbucks stores, Ulta stores and Ulta.com, and the city compost event. Each one ties the free item to a clear account, date, or location limit. A birthday reward means a free item tied to your birth date and membership.
A city giveaway means a set product pickup for local households while supplies last.

What birthday food or drink works in Fremont?
According to the Starbucks Terms of Use, Rewards members who join at least 7 days before their birthday and register birthday information earn one free birthday beverage or food item at participating stores, including Fremont locations, as described in the Starbucks rewards terms. Gold and Reserve members get 7 days from the birthday to redeem. That timing matters.
Join late or skip the birthday field and the birthday item does not trigger. Check the participating-store detail before you go, since not every licensed counter treats rewards the same way.
How do beauty birthday gifts work?
According to the Ulta Beauty Rewards Terms, members with a birthday in their profile receive one free birthday gift per calendar year during their birthday month, redeemable with coupon or code in Ulta stores or at Ulta.com, as described in the Ulta rewards terms. The terms exclude Ulta at Target and DoorDash Marketplace. Bring the app or email coupon for in-store pickup.
Online redemption uses a code at checkout. The limit is one gift per calendar year, tied to the birthday month.
Where can Fremont households get free compost?
According to the City of Fremont, the city joins Newark and Republic Services for an annual Compost Giveaway at Fremont Recycling and Transfer Station, 41149 Boyce Rd, as described in the city compost giveaway listing. Fremont households that present a Republic Services bill receive two free bags while supplies last. This is a dated, in-person pickup, not a mail-in sample.
Bring the bill, expect a line, and plan transport for two bags. When the supply runs out, the giveaway ends for that day.
How do you spot a fake prize notice?
According to the Federal Trade Commission, any sweepstakes, lottery, or prize notice that requires payment for taxes, insurance, shipping, or processing is a scam because real prizes are free, as explained in the FTC advice on fake prizes. Victims are asked to report to ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Use this test before you pay or share bank details:
- Free means free: a fee to release a prize breaks the rule.
- Chance to win is not a secured gift: entry does not promise an item.
- Local pickup has a public address and stated limit: vague delivery plus urgency is a warning sign.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to buy something to get the birthday items?
The Starbucks and Ulta birthday gifts are tied to free membership plus birthday registration, not to a same-day purchase. Bring the account, coupon, or code and meet the date window.
Can someone else pick up my compost bags?
The city listing ties pickup to Fremont households with a Republic Services bill. Bring that bill and expect staff to check it at the station.
