Fremont, CA Pet Product Giveaways Near Me: Where to Find Legit Deals
Redeem Fremont pet birthday rewards in-store, use shelter resources, and check prize rules before you pay.
Fremont pet owners can find legit pet-product giveaways through store rewards redeemable locally and through city and shelter programs. The clearest verified option is a pet birthday perk from PetSmart that can be used at the Fremont store. Gotcha Day means an adoption anniversary.
Many rewards programs treat a birthday and a Gotcha Day the same way for a registered pet.

What birthday perk can your pet get?
According to PetSmart's birthday and Gotcha Day gift explanation, Treats Rewards members with a registered birthday or Gotcha Day can receive 1,000 limited-time bonus points worth $2. The same account can also receive a one-time 2x-points perk on pet treats during that month. That benefit is time-limited and tied to the registered month.
It is a set benefit for eligible accounts, not a chance to win. To receive and redeem it, the account must meet these checks:
- Add the pet's birthday or Gotcha Day to the account pet profile
- Stay opted in to Treats Rewards emails
- Redeem within the stated birthday-month and points-expiration limits
Where do you redeem it in Fremont?
Fremont residents can redeem national chain birthday rewards locally rather than only online. PetSmart lists its Fremont store listing for Store 1340 at 39410 Argonaut Way, Fremont, CA 94538, phone (510) 790-1459. Bring the rewards account information used for the pet profile.
Check expiration dates before traveling, because birthday points are limited-time.
What local shelter resources matter?
According to the City of Fremont Aug. 29, 2025 bulletin, Tri-City Animal Shelter at 1950 Stevenson Blvd. serves Fremont-area owners with adoptions, lost-pet lookup with an interactive map, online licensing through DocuPet, and low-cost animal services.
Those services can lower routine pet costs alongside store rewards. The same bulletin shows where occasional local pet giveaways appear. The City of Fremont, NBC Bay Area, and Tri-City Animal Shelter hosted Downtown Dog Days at 3500 Capitol Ave.
on Aug. 30, 2025, with demos, crafts, vendors, adoptions, a low-cost vaccination clinic, and free Ben and Jerry's dog ice cream for the first 100 dogs.
How do you avoid a bad prize offer?
According to Federal Trade Commission consumer advice on fake prizes, legitimate U.S. sweepstakes and prize promotions must be free to enter by chance. A Fremont pet giveaway that asks for payment, account details, or a purchase to collect a prize carries a warning sign to report.
Read the sponsor's terms for age, location, entry dates, and redemption limits. Keep the entry free, keep personal accounts private, and report demands for money tied to prize collection.
