Three attractions with free admission
Como Park Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory offer free admission and free parking throughout the year. Donations are voluntary, although animals or exhibits may close during bad weather, according to the Como Zoo and Conservatory visitor FAQ. The Minnesota State Capitol, 75 Rev.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., provides free guided and self-guided tours.
Visitors must pass weapons screening, and public hours exclude Sundays, as explained by the Minnesota Department of Administration. Downtown, the Mississippi River Visitor Center at 120 Kellogg Blvd. W.
has free admission, interactive exhibits, and Junior Ranger activities. The National Park Service visitor-center guide notes that the neighboring Science Museum's exhibits and theater require paid admission.
Museum freebies with eligibility limits
At the Bell Museum's Saint Paul location, qualifying Museums for All participants receive free gallery admission. General admission is also waived for all Indigenous peoples, but planetarium tickets are discounted rather than free, according to the Bell Museum's admission-access page. The Science Museum of Minnesota offers free admission to Indigenous community members who arrange reservations.

Starbucks birthday reward requirements
Starbucks Rewards members may receive one complimentary beverage, food item, or bottled drink on their birthday at participating Saint Paul stores. Members must join at least seven days before their birthday, enter their birthday in the account, and complete one Star-earning transaction each year. The conditions are in the Starbucks Rewards Terms.
This is a nationwide membership benefit rather than a Saint Paul-only promotion. Starbucks launched its three-tier U.S. Rewards program on March 10, 2026, according to the company's 2026 loyalty-program announcement.
Redemption still depends on using a participating location.
What Free Mod Monday actually covers
Green-tier Starbucks Rewards members receive one free drink customization, worth up to $2 before tax, on one Starbucks-selected Monday each month. This benefit covers a customization, not the entire drink. The offer cannot be combined with other rewards.
