How long will each free window last?
Trial length controls how many premieres you can catch. A 7-day window fits one week of episodes. A 21-day window can cover three weeks of a seasonal schedule.
Start dates matter more than month. Start the shortest trial the day your must-watch show airs. Save the 21-day option for the busiest stretch of premieres.
- Philo: 7 days for new users
- Frndly TV: 7 days for a new plan, plus 7 days for an eligible add-on such as Hallmark+
- Hoopla Hallmark+ BingePass: 7 days per library borrow
- YouTube TV: 21 days on named plans
How do you avoid paying after watching?
Trials convert to paid plans unless you cancel. New-customer status, a payment method at signup, and the signup date set the deadline. If you stack services, run them one after another rather than all at once.
That keeps each renewal date clear and limits overlap charges.
- Confirm the trial length on the checkout screen before submitting payment details
- Note the exact renewal date and time in your phone
- Watch the listed premieres early in the window
- Cancel at least one day before renewal, then check for a confirmation email
- Return to the library app to end or reborrow a BingePass on schedule
