Free Shipping on Thanksgiving Groceries: Which Stores Offer It?
Save on delivery by meeting $25 and $35 minimums for Thanksgiving meals before late-November cutoff dates.
Walmart, Amazon Grocery and Target offer free shipping on Thanksgiving groceries when you meet their order minimums. ALDI sells a low-price meal for 10 through delivery apps, but warns extra fees may apply. Free shipping here means no delivery charge on a qualifying grocery order, not free food.
Each store sets its own minimum, dates, and delivery area.

How does Walmart's free delivery work?
According to Walmart Corporate, the store offers free Express Delivery on its $35 Holiday Meal Basket serving 10 people through November 30, 2026 Walmart's holiday meal announcement. The basket itself remains available through December 24, 2026. According to the same Walmart Corporate announcement, the offer covers a complete holiday meal for 10 at $3.50 per person.
Shoppers can order it online for pickup or delivery. That structure matters for planning. Delivery is free only during the earlier window, even though pickup stays available longer.
What does Amazon include for $25?
According to the Amazon Press Center, Amazon Grocery sells a complete $25 Thanksgiving meal with 8-lb. turkey plus sides and dessert Amazon's Thanksgiving meal announcement. Free Same-Day Delivery applies on orders of $25 or more through Nov.

Only shoppers in those delivery zones are affected. Buy before the cutoff if your address qualifies. After Nov.

When is Target shipping free?
According to Target Help, Target provides free shipping when shoppers spend $35 or more, pay with a Target Circle Card, or hold Circle 360 membership Target's shipping help page. Other orders pay $5.99 plus possible Alaska and Hawaii surcharges. According to Target, Circle 360 members get free fast shipping and unlimited free same-day delivery on orders over $35 from Target and nearby grocers.
Membership costs $99 per year or $10.99 per month. Check your cart against these options before you pay:
- reach $35 to unlock free shipping without a membership
- use a Target Circle Card if your total is under $35
- use Circle 360 for same-day grocery delivery over $35
Where could you still pay fees?
According to ALDI, its under-$39 Thanksgiving meal for 10 is available through DoorDash, Instacart and Uber Eats ALDI's Thanksgiving announcement. ALDI warns additional delivery and service fees may still apply. Those third-party fees can reduce the savings from a low menu price.
A meal total under $39 does not mean checkout totals stay under $39. Practical takeaway: Shoppers can get free Thanksgiving grocery shipping by meeting store minimums — $25 at Amazon, $35 at Target and Walmart basket offers. Enter your ZIP code at checkout to confirm free delivery applies to your address.
