Free Pet Food Coupons: Where Manufacturers Mail Samples
Get mailed dog-food samples or store trial coupons, plus limits to check before you share your address.
Free pet food coupons fall into two types: small packs mailed to your home and trial coupons you redeem in a shop. This guide shows where makers now post samples, where a printed coupon is needed, and what limits shape each offer. A maker sample means a small trial amount meant to test taste and tolerance before you buy full-size food.
A coupon means a code or printed slip that lowers the price or covers a trial bag at checkout.

Which makers post samples to your home?
Bonza ships a free 75-80g vegan dog-food taste-test pack with no delivery charge after you email your name and full postal address. The offer is limited to one per household and to UK addresses for customs reasons, as stated on the Bonza sample page. Black Hawk provides a sample-request form for dog, puppy, cat or kitten dry or wet food.
Black Hawk states your sample will be delivered by Australia Post after address verification, as explained on the Black Hawk sample page.
How does a printed coupon differ from a mailed pack?
CHARM Canada emails a printable coupon for a free trial bag redeemable in-store at participating retailers. The same offer adds $10 off dog food or $6 off cat food on the next full-size purchase, as listed on the CHARM trial page. A mailed pack comes to your door after an online request.
A printed coupon needs a shop trip, and stock depends on the local retailer. These are direct trial offers, not prize draws with winners and odds.
What checks should you run before you share your address?
Read the benefit and its limits together before you apply. Look for household caps, location limits, pet-type match, and where redemption happens. Keep your request to what the form asks, usually name, address, and pet type.
If you move or reapply from the same home, wait and recheck the terms first.
- Household: one pack per home for some offers.
- Location: country limits can block delivery.
- Redemption: post delivery or in-store use only.
When should you plan a store visit instead?
Open Farm does not mail samples directly. Open Farm says free samples are available only at local resellers. Shoppers are directed to its store finder or support email, as noted in the Open Farm FAQ.
Call ahead to confirm the shop has trial stock and which pet recipes are included. Bring the printed coupon or request details so staff can redeem it at checkout.
