Compare age, adult-purchase, membership, dine-in, and location rules before planning a free kids' meal.

Free kids' meals often require an adult entrée, have age limits, and work only at participating locations. The terms differ by restaurant, so check the purchase, membership, dining, and redemption rules before visiting. Denny's and Moe's currently document qualifying offers, while Kelseys has a Tuesday promotion in Canada.

A separate Orange County restaurant promotion ended August 27, 2026, so it is no longer available.

Verification note: Program terms and availability can change. This page was checked against linked sources on September 09, 2026.

What Does "Free" Require at Denny's?

Denny's offers free kids' entrées with an adult entrée costing at least $6. Participating restaurants may provide up to two kids' entrées per qualifying adult entrée. The offer is dine-in only and excludes online orders.

Denny's does not publish an age limit in its FAQ, and both eligible days and restaurant participation vary by location. Families should confirm those details directly with the restaurant, according to the Denny's FAQ.

How Does the Moe's Reward Work?

Moe Rewards members can receive one free Kids Meal with each qualifying adult entrée at participating locations. Qualifying purchases include burritos, bowls, stacks, nachos, quesadillas, three tacos, and salads. The weekly reward is issued on Sunday and expires the following Saturday.

It is single-use, must be selected during checkout, excludes third-party delivery, and cannot be combined with another offer, according to the Moe's offers page.

Which Offer Has a Clear Age Limit?

Kelseys limits its Tuesday promotion to children age 12 and under. Each qualifying child receives one kids' meal with an adult entrée costing at least C$18.99. The guest must also make a C$2 BGC Canada donation, so the transaction still has an added cost.

The offer is dine-in only at participating restaurants, excludes groups with eight or more children and other promotions, and remains subject to applicable taxes. Full conditions appear on the Kelseys Tuesday promotion page.

How Should Families Check Participation?

"Participating locations" means an offer may not be available throughout an entire restaurant chain. Before ordering, verify: Do not rely on an expired location list. Irvine Company Retail's Orange County Culinary Adventures promotion covered selected restaurants in Irvine, Newport Beach, and Tustin from May 31 through August 27, 2026, meaning it had ended by September 9, 2026.

Its former terms generally allowed one free kids' meal per adult entrée, with age limits of either 12 and under or 10 and under depending on the restaurant, as shown on the Irvine Company Retail promotion page.

  • The child's maximum eligible age
  • The required adult entrée and minimum price
  • The number of kids' meals allowed per adult purchase
  • The valid day and redemption deadline
  • Whether dine-in, membership, or checkout activation is required
