Which online discounts end first?
Shutterfly advertises 50% off holiday cards with no code needed ending Nov. 4, plus free shipping with no minimum using code FREESHIP ending Nov. 4, according to Shutterfly on Shutterfly's extravaganza deals page.
That short window matters because Nov. 3 sits one day before the cutoff. Check your cart before checkout to confirm the discount applied.
Walgreens Photo advertises 70% off all cards and premium stationery with code TYCARDS through Nov. 7 and free address printing on premium stationery with code RETURN11 through Nov. 7, according to Walgreens on Walgreens holiday photo page.
Enter both codes where directed if you order premium stationery. The extra days give more time than the Nov. 4 offers.
Can you pick up cards the same day?
CVS Photo offers same-day pickup on select personalized holiday cards at more than 7,500 locations, letting shoppers design online and pick up cards the same day, according to CVS on CVS Photo cards page. Select means only certain designs qualify. Filter for same-day pickup before you personalize.
Order early in the day to meet the store cutoff. Bring your order confirmation and photo ID if the store asks. Same-day pickup can avoid shipping cost and mail delay.
What does Hallmark give members?
Hallmark's Crown Rewards gives members one free Just Because card per month at participating U.S. Gold Crown stores, limit one per member per month, requiring coupon or account redemption, according to Hallmark on Hallmark's free-card promotion page. Just Because means a non-holiday everyday card.
Participation varies by store. Join Crown Rewards before you visit if you are not a member. Open the coupon or account screen at the register.
The monthly limit resets each month.
How should you compare the offers?
Start with your deadline, then your quantity. A percentage discount helps large orders more than small ones. Free address printing helps only premium stationery orders.
Measure shipping against pickup time if you need cards fast. Enter TYCARDS and RETURN11 before Nov. 7 if you choose Walgreens premium stationery.
