Event Ticket Giveaways in Wichita, KS: Updated 2026 List for Local Winners

Check deadlines, eligibility, travel costs, and purchase conditions before choosing a Wichita-area ticket offer.

As of August 23, 2026, only one clearly open no-purchase ticket drawing is verified for Wichita-area listeners: KFDI's Zac Brown Band contest. The 2026 evidence does not support a broad list of giveaways for events held in Wichita. A separate Wind Surge program provides limited complimentary tickets to first responders.

Two other promotions have purchase requirements or missing public details that keep them from qualifying as confirmed free drawings.

Verification note: Program terms and availability can change. This page was checked against linked sources on August 23, 2026.

The verified no-purchase drawing

KFDI's official contest rules allow website or app entries through 11:59 p.m. CT on August 30, 2026. No purchase is necessary, and the station expects to draw two winners around August 31.

Entrants must be U.S. residents age 18 or older within the KFDI-FM listening area. Employees, members of their households, and certain recent contest winners are excluded.

A Wichita-area address does not replace the listening-area requirement.

Complimentary Wind Surge tickets for first responders

The Wichita Wind Surge's First Responder Friday program provides 100 complimentary tickets for each Friday home game in 2026. Tickets are first-come, first-served, with a limit of four per first responder each week. This is not a drawing, and it is not open to the general public.

Eligible first responders receive a direct benefit while supplies last, but eligibility does not ensure tickets will remain available.

Offers that do not qualify as confirmed free drawings

The Wichita Thunder's 10 Days of Giveaways promotion includes a chance to win 10 tickets to a selected home game. Entry requires buying a ticket package, making this a purchase-linked promotion rather than a free public ticket giveaway. Channel 96.3 lists an entry opportunity for a Wind Surge family four-pack, but its public contests and rules page does not provide an end date or eligibility terms.

Readers should treat it as a lead to check, not as a confirmed open offer.

Costs and limits to consider

KFDI will award two pairs of tickets, each valued at $150, for Zac Brown Band at Kansas City's T-Mobile Center on September 10. Winners are responsible for taxes and travel, so the prize does not include a cost-free trip from Wichita. "No purchase necessary" means payment is not required to enter; it does not mean winning creates no expenses.

Enter KFDI's drawing before 11:59 p.m. CT on August 30 only if the eligibility rules fit and self-funded Kansas City travel remains practical.
