Event Ticket Giveaways in Kansas City, MO: Updated 2026 List for Local Winners

Kansas City, Missouri does not have a single official 2026 list of event-ticket giveaways for local winners. As of August 12, no open ticket giveaway is documented here; one Royals promotion begins August 17, while the confirmed ticket offers have expired. An event-ticket giveaway awards admission through a drawing or instant-win promotion.
That differs from stadium merchandise, wagering credit, or ticket discounts.
The upcoming Royals promotion
The Royals' "Big Bobby" promotion runs from 10 a.m. CT August 17 through 10 p.m. CT August 19.
It includes an instant-win game and sweepstakes, with one entry allowed per person and email address. Entrants must be at least 18. The Kansas City Royals rules allow U.S.
residents and Canadian residents outside Quebec, so Kansas City residents receive no local-only eligibility advantage. Travel is not included, and the odds depend on entry volume.
Ticket giveaways that have ended
The Royals Community Opening Day sweepstakes is closed. Mail entries had to arrive by March 19, and the drawing was scheduled around March 20. Its single prize included two game tickets and parking, valued at approximately $311, according to the Royals' Opening Day sweepstakes rules.
Visit KC's Eric Church giveaway also ended. Entries were accepted February 2–9, with winners selected around February 9 and one entry permitted per person. The Kansas City Current playoff-ticket page describes a 2025 promotion, not a current 2026 opportunity.
It offered two premium tickets per drawing to Missouri or Kansas residents who were at least 18.
Offers that do not award event tickets
The Royals Home Win! Sweepstakes from Circa Sports remains open through September 27, but it does not award tickets. Missouri residents aged 21 or older who create a new account can enter, and 100 entrants are selected after each Royals home win to receive $100 in wagering-account credit, according to the 2026 Circa Sports rules.
A stadium merchandise giveaway is also different. The Royals' promotional guidelines state that recipients need a valid game ticket; limited quantities are distributed first-come, first-served. The promotional item is free for eligible attendees, but admission is not.
What to check before entering
Read the organizer's rules rather than relying on an old announcement or shared post. Confirm these details before submitting an entry: For the upcoming Big Bobby promotion, wait until 10 a.m. CT on August 17 and use only one person and email combination.
If attendance would require travel, account for that expense before entering because the rules exclude travel.
