Disney Holiday Specials: What's Free to Stream This Year?

ABC airtimes for both 2026 Disney specials, plus where last year's free YouTube replays lived and when they expired.
This year ABC lists two Disney holiday specials on broadcast TV, and last year both matching specials had a free YouTube replay. That makes YouTube the no-cost option to watch for, with Disney+ and Hulu replays requiring paid subscriptions last year. The Holiday Spectacular is a musical special filmed at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
The Christmas Day Parade mixes performances with parade coverage from the parks. ABC has set 2026 airtimes for both, detailed below.

When do the 2026 specials air?
The Holiday Spectacular airs Monday, Nov. 30, 2026, from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT.
It features new musical performances from Walt Disney World and Disneyland. According to ABC, the date and parks locations are set in its holiday programming announcement. The Christmas Day Parade airs Friday, Dec.
25, 2026. The listed times are 10 a.m. EST, 9 a.m.
CST and 5 a.m. MST/PST. Morning viewers in western time zones need to plan for the early start.
Where was free streaming last year?
The 2025 parade aired on ABC at 10 a.m. EST on Dec. 25, 2025.
It then streamed at 11 a.m. EST on Disney+, Hulu and Disney YouTube. According to WDW News Today, those streaming times were listed in its parade viewing guide.
The access terms differed by platform. WDW News Today reported the YouTube replay was free to everyone. Disney+ and Hulu replays required paid subscriptions.
- ABC broadcast: watch live at the listed airtime
- Disney YouTube: free replay for all viewers
- Disney+ and Hulu: replay with paid subscription
How long does free access stay up?
Free access was time-limited rather than permanent. The free and subscription streaming window for the 2025 parade ended Jan. 4, 2026.
According to WDW News Today, that cutoff applied to the limited-time YouTube streaming window. That limit matters for holiday planning. A replay posted in late December can disappear in early January.
If a free upload appears this season, watch before the stated end date.
What about the other holiday viewing?
Disney also posted the full 2025 Holiday Spectacular to YouTube ahead of its Dec. 1 ABC premiere. Next-day streaming followed on Hulu and Disney+.
According to WDWmagic, the early YouTube posting was covered in its Holiday Spectacular YouTube report. Separately, Disney+ offered a "Season's Streamings" Christmas channel. The Direct reported it launched Nov.
4, 2025 only for U.S. Premium subscribers. That loop is a subscription extra, not a free-to-stream offer.
