Denny's Rewards: What the App Offers for Free
Free to join, Denny's Rewards adds a welcome item, 20% off, and points toward free menu favorites.
Denny's Rewards is a free loyalty program that gives new members a free item and 20% off the next visit. Members also earn points called BoothBucks toward a free Booth Reward. The program runs through dennys.com and the Denny's mobile app.
Joining requires creating an account, and use is governed by binding program terms. Time-limited extras and redemption rules set where, when, and how free items apply.
How joining works
Denny's says membership is free and requires creating an account on dennys.com or in the mobile app, under the Rewards Terms effective March 13, 2025. The account tracks purchases made dine-in or online. Members must use the app or website for purchases to count.
Use the same login in-store and online. That keeps BoothBucks tied to one balance. Check the terms for account and participation conditions before visiting.
- Create a Rewards account on dennys.com or in the app.
- Present the app or login for tracked dine-in and online orders.
- Review the binding terms for eligibility and account rules.
What discount comes right after signup?
Denny's says on the FAQs page that joining brings 20% off the member's next visit. The offer applies after signup at dennys.com/rewards. Members also receive news and exclusive promotions.
Use the same account from signup when you return. Ask how the discount applies before you pay. Read the current offer wording with the terms, since promotions can change.
What free food can you earn?
Denny's says on the Rewards Program page that new members are promised a welcome free item advertised as "Join Rewards and get a free item." Members earn 10 BoothBucks for every $1 spent on dine-in or online purchases tracked through the app or website. Reaching 600 BoothBucks, about $60 in spending, automatically unlocks a Booth Reward. The Booth Reward covers a choice of over 40 menu favorites from starters to desserts.
That range lets members pick a starter, main, side, or dessert. Tracked spending is what moves the balance toward 600.
How do you redeem without losing the reward?
Denny's Rewards Terms state that in-store offers use a QR code valid for 24 hours. Staff must apply it before the check is closed. Online offers must be selected at checkout.
Open the QR code before ordering to confirm it loads. Tell the server about the reward early in the meal. For online orders, look for the offer selector before paying.
What about limited-time extras?
Denny's Media Team said in the championship series free-meal announcement that a free Triple Play Combo Meal depends on play during Oct. 23-31, 2026. If either team turns a triple play, every U.S.
member enrolled by Nov. 1 gets the meal uploaded Nov. 3.
Redemption is dine-in that day only. The same announcement paired a free pancake stack with any beverage purchase Oct. 13-31, in-restaurant only and one-time.
It also listed 20% off Oct. 22-27 with an $8 minimum and $10 cap. Those windows have passed, so treat them as examples of dated extras rather than current offers.
