Cyber Monday 2026: Security Camera Deal Checklist

Check prices, monthly storage costs, and update support before buying a security camera on November 30.

Cyber Monday 2026 falls on Monday, November 30, three days after Black Friday on November 27, according to eufy's 2026 holiday guide. This checklist helps you compare camera price, video-storage cost, and security support before you buy. A security camera deal means the camera price plus any monthly plan for saved video.

Some cameras record to a memory card, while others need a cloud plan for history and alerts. The sections below break down what to check for each part.

When should you start comparing?

Cyber Monday lands four days after Thanksgiving on November 26, based on the same eufy guide. That leaves a short window after Black Friday to compare models. Start your list early with the features, storage type, and return window you will accept.

Use these checks for each deal you consider:

  • Write down the sale price, prior price, shipping cost, and return period.
  • Write down whether saved video needs a paid plan and its monthly cost.
  • Write down the security update period and whether updates are automatic.

What prices and terms should you compare?

Ring's deals page advertises up to 60% off, including Indoor Cam 2K at $24.99, was $59.99, and Outdoor Cam 2K at $49.99, was $99.99, plus Floodlight Cam 2K at $99.99, according to Ring's holiday deals page. The same page lists free shipping and 45-day returns. Compare those four points across sellers before you choose.

Do not judge a deal on the camera price alone. Add any monthly storage fee for the time you plan to keep the camera. Then check if shipping and returns change the total risk if you need to send it back.

Will you need a monthly plan?

Ring cameras work without a plan for live view, motion alerts, two-way talk, and motion zones, while an added Protect plan adds up to 180 days of saved video plus smarter alerts, according to the Ring blog. Arlo states Secure Plus costs $7.99 per month for one camera or $17.99 per month for unlimited cameras when billed annually, with 60-day history and person, vehicle, package, and animal detection. Wyze Support states a microSD card allows continuous local recording, about four days on 32 GB, while Cam Plus instead offers motion-triggered cloud events kept 14 days plus person, package, vehicle, and pet detection, according to Wyze's comparison guide.

Local storage can lower monthly cost but depends on card size and theft risk. Cloud storage adds a fee but keeps events off-site.

How do you check security support?

Look for the FCC's voluntary U.S. Cyber Trust Mark on qualifying wireless products, including cameras. The FCC release notes the mark uses a QR code that discloses the support period and whether updates are automatic.

Prefer a product that states clear support dates. CISA guidance advises placing smart-home devices on a separate guest Wi-Fi network when they need only internet access, plus strong unique passwords, multifactor authentication, and automatic updates. CISA's Oct.

13, 2026 advisory ICSA-26-286-02 found Swann SWIFI-SE2KIC cameras on firmware 2.0.22 and earlier let a local-network attacker view live video and snapshots without login, according to CISA's advisory. Confirm patch support with the maker before you buy.
