Contest Alerts in Aurora, CO: Updated 2026 List for Local Winners

Compare four current Aurora-area prize opportunities by deadline, eligibility, attendance, and claim limits.

Aurora does not have a verified official citywide contest directory for 2026. As of August 25, four current Aurora or Aurora-area opportunities are documented: Cheers Aurora, a motorcycle giveaway, Senior Expo drawings, and a Halloween costume contest. A contest alert is a dated notice about a chance to win, not a promised reward.

The City of Aurora's still-live "Ultimate Summer" page describes an entry period that ended May 15, so it is not active.

How to use this updated list

Check each opportunity's deadline, eligibility, and entry method before participating. The next scheduled event is September 1, while the latest listed contest takes place October 24. These opportunities are not interchangeable.

One requires attendance, another requires a motorcycle endorsement, and the brewery promotion involves earning badges and redeeming them at a designated office.

Cheers Aurora offers the clearest local winner record

Visit Aurora's Q3 Cheers Aurora promotion lets participants earn brewery badges and redeem them at its Aurora office. Entries for the grand-prize drawing are due by 6 p.m. September 30, with the drawing scheduled for October 1.

The prizes include branded apparel, two mini-golf rounds plus two bowling games at FlyteCo Tower, and a $50 participating-brewery gift card. Winners have 14 days to claim their prizes, according to the Visit Aurora promotion page. This is also the only opportunity on this list that publishes named 2026 winners.

Visit Aurora identifies Janell Myers and Sara Myers as Q2 winners, plus Sara Myers, Holly Day, and Niko Soriano as Q1 winners. Those prior awards demonstrate that the quarterly promotion has produced local winners, but they do not improve a new entrant's odds.

Motorcycle giveaway eligibility is narrow

Rider Justice's motorcycle giveaway remains open through September 25. Entrants must live in Colorado, be at least 21, and hold a current motorcycle endorsement. One winner may choose from specified motorcycle or ATV models valued up to $12,000.

The rules allow one entry per day and identify Mile High Harley-Davidson Aurora as a partner, according to the Rider Justice giveaway page. Check all three eligibility conditions before entering repeatedly. Living near Aurora or visiting the partner dealership does not replace the Colorado-residency, age, or endorsement requirements.

Senior Expo drawings require attendance

The Aurora Senior Expo is scheduled for September 1 at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds. Its hourly prize drawings are limited to attendees, while preregistration advertises a chance at a $200 Visa gift card and other prizes, according to the Aurora Senior Expo event page. Preregistration provides a chance to win; it does not promise the gift card.

Because the drawings are attendee-only, someone who registers but skips the event should not expect to qualify for the hourly prizes.

Halloween entrants must appear in costume

On Havana Street's Aurora costume contest takes place October 24. It will award more than $720 in gift cards across child, adult, group, and pet categories. Entry requires appearing in costume and completing a photo waiver in person, as stated in the Halloween on Havana Street event details.

A pet, group, or child entry therefore needs an eligible participant present at the event rather than an online submission.
