Find current Cleveland ticket sweepstakes and gate giveaways, then check entry limits, costs, and prize-warning signs.
To find Cleveland, Ohio contest alerts near you, start with the Cleveland Guardians' promotions, giveaways, special-ticket, and sweepstakes pages. The currently documented options include a free-entry ticket sweepstakes, three ticket-required gate giveaways, and one paid special package—not a blanket list of no-cost deals. A contest alert is a notice about a chance-based prize or limited promotion.
Always identify whether an offer is free to enter, requires admission, or is a paid bundle before participating.

Where should Cleveland readers look first?
Use the sponsor's page as your working alert, then open the offer's detailed rules. A promotions page may group together sweepstakes, ticket packages, and stadium giveaways even though their costs and redemption terms differ. Check the deadline, age and location requirements, entry limit, ticket requirement, and available quantity.
Review those details again before buying tickets or traveling because an offer may be limited, changed, or exhausted.
A free-entry Guardians ticket sweepstakes
The Guardians' Fan Marketing Sweepstakes allows one free entry per person, email address, and household through September 6, 2026. Eligible entrants must be at least 18 and reside in the United States or Canada. They may use the Progressive Field QR-code form or the specified email method; optional marketing-email or text consent does not affect winning chances.
The prizes are one four-ticket package valued at $580 and two two-ticket packages valued at $290 each, according to the Guardians' Fan Marketing Sweepstakes rules. An entry provides a chance to win, not tickets for every participant. Winners also cover expenses excluded from the prize, including transportation and lodging, so consider the total trip cost before entering.
Which gate giveaways are scheduled?
The Guardians' 2026 Gate Giveaways page documents these upcoming promotions and participation limits: These are complimentary stadium items, but admission is not free. A valid ticket makes someone eligible for distribution; it does not ensure an item will remain when that person arrives.
- August 28 versus Kansas City: Free Shirt Friday for the first 10,000 fans; shirts are adult XL only.
- August 29 versus Kansas City: Bob Feller 1936 Jersey for 15,000 fans.
- September 5 versus Detroit: Jersey Hoodie for 15,000 fans while supplies last.
- For each offer, recipients must attend with a valid game ticket. Distribution is first-come, first-served, limited to one item per ticket, and subject to change.
Is the Walsh University offer a giveaway?
The August 28 Walsh University package includes a game ticket, co-branded cap, and private event with food and Pepsi products. The Guardians' Special Ticket Packages page identifies it as a paid, limited-availability package rather than a general gate giveaway. Treat this offer as a bundled purchase.
Compare the included event and merchandise with the package cost instead of viewing the cap or refreshments as stand-alone freebies.
How to screen a prize alert safely
The Federal Trade Commission says legitimate sweepstakes are free and chance-based. A prize notice demanding payment, bank or card details, or a Social Security number is a warning sign, according to the FTC's prize and sweepstakes guidance. Match unexpected messages against the sponsor's published rules before responding.
Do not pay to receive a supposed prize, and report suspected prize fraud at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
