What Nebraska-rooted treats apply in Lincoln?
Runza is a Nebraska-based chain with multiple Lincoln restaurants. Members get a Birthday Reward through the free Runza Rewards app when redeeming in-store or order-ahead, as described on the Runza rewards page. Scooter's Coffee was founded in Nebraska and operates in Lincoln.
App members earn 3 Smiles per $1. They receive a free drink on their birthday plus monthly surprise rewards starting at Scooter Doodle status, as explained in the Scooter's company post.
What do wider chains offer in town?
Starbucks Rewards members can qualify for a yearly Birthday Reward of one handcrafted beverage, food item or bottled drink. Qualification needs joining at least 7 days before the birthday plus a prior star-earning transaction. Starbucks notes the reward is added on the birthday and valid only that date, per the Starbucks Rewards terms.
Chick-fil-A One members receive a birthday reward by tier. Base members choose a Chocolate Chunk Cookie or Chocolate Fudge Brownie, while Silver members choose from seven desserts including milkshake or Frosted Lemonade. Chick-fil-A credits the reward on the birthday for 30 days, as stated on the Chick-fil-A help page.
When should you set up accounts?
Set up accounts before your birthday month. Enter your birthday early because same-day signup does not qualify for at least one program. Check the account on your birthday morning.
Note the use window before you travel, since windows differ by program.
