Free festivals and markets
Celebrate Mesa runs October 10, 2026, from 5–9 p.m. at Red Mountain Multiuse Fields South. The City of Mesa event page lists free carnival rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and face painting.
For a recurring outing, Eastmark Farmers Market has free entry every Saturday from 7–11 a.m. through September 26, 2026. It takes place at Eastmark Great Park, 5100 S.
Eastmark Pkwy. Free entry does not mean free merchandise. Vendors sell their products, so treat the market as a no-cost outing rather than a product giveaway.
Free art and outdoor visits

Mesa Public Library offers a free card to people who live in Maricopa County for at least 30 consecutive days each year.
