Best Event Ticket Giveaways in Lincoln, NE: 2026 Local Guide

The best event ticket giveaways in Lincoln for 2026 mix free University of Nebraska student tickets with chance-to-win drawings for Husker football and Pinnacle Bank Arena concerts. Free means reserved at no cost for eligible students, while drawings award a limited prize to one entrant. A ticket giveaway here means either a guaranteed free reservation for people who meet the eligibility rules or a contest entry for a random drawing.

That distinction matters because most Lincoln concert and sports offers are chances to win, not tickets for everyone who enters.

How do UNL students get free Lied Center tickets?

The Lied Center's Arts for All program gives University of Nebraska students free tickets to nearly half its season events, with Fall 2026 tickets listed as available now and a valid NUID required to reserve, according to the Lied Center Arts for All program details. NUID means the university-issued student identification number used to verify enrollment. Reservations go through the Lied Center, not through individual performers or venues.

Comedian Josh Johnson's Lincoln Main Stage shows are one example, with the Lied Center advertising free UNL student tickets through Arts for All for September-October 2026 dates. Students should check the event listing before traveling because free inventory applies to selected performances. A valid student ID is needed at reservation and may be checked again at pickup or entry.

What does the Husker football ticket promotion include?

FNBO's 2026 Kick for Cash selects a winner at each home Husker football game for two tickets, pregame hospitality and on-field access, plus a 20-, 30- or 40-yard kick for $2,000, $5,000 or $7,000, according to Nebraska Athletics and FNBO 2026 Husker promotion details. The football tickets and hospitality are the contest prize, while the cash depends on making the selected kick. Readers should read the football promotion terms for entry deadlines tied to each home game.

This is a chance to win, not free admission for all fans. Winners accept a scheduled game date and on-field activity. People who cannot attend on short notice or cannot kick should not enter.

Which concert drawings cover Pinnacle Bank Arena?

Lincoln concert drawings often center on Pinnacle Bank Arena, usually called PBA in local listings. Selectel Wireless runs a Lincoln-specific Jason Aldean concert promotion page that posts contest rules requiring entrants to be 18 or older, according to Selectel Wireless Lincoln Jason Aldean promotion rules. Age is checked against the rules, so younger fans need a different offer.

Radio drawings are shorter and date-specific. 1620 The Zone's Godsmack rules offered one pair of Godsmack tickets at Pinnacle Bank Arena, with entry August 24-October 4, 2026 and random drawing October 5, 2026, according to NRG Media and 1620 The Zone. That window has closed, which shows why readers should confirm dates before entering.

Nebraska Lottery has separately described its recurring Fall PBA You Choose giveaway, including a past example of two T-Pain tickets for October 26, 2025 with $150 in scratch coupons and $50 in Pick 5 coupons.

Who can enter under age, location and win limits?

Contests restrict winners by age and place. Common limits include 19 and older plus Nielsen listening-area residency for 1620 The Zone, 19 and older for Nebraska Lottery, valid UNL ID or NUID for Lied free tickets, and 30-day win limits plus in-person ID for Bryan Broadcasting stations. Selectel's Lincoln Aldean offer uses an 18-or-older threshold instead.

Before entering, readers can scan these checks: People outside the listening area, under the stated age, or without the required student ID are not eligible even when entry forms accept their information.

• Confirm age, student status, and Lincoln-area residency match the rules.
• Note entry start, end, drawing date, and whether pickup is in person.
• Check win limits that block repeat winners within 30 days on some stations.
• Keep ID ready because stations and university programs verify identity.
