Best Event Ticket Giveaways in Irving, TX: 2026 Local Guide
Find Irving free admissions and why one Irving concert draw excluded local residents, with limits.
The verified ticket-free options in Irving for 2026 are Irving Arts Center free year-round programs and the annual Frost Fest winter festival. Recent radio contests for concerts at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving were chance-to-win offers with narrow residency limits, not free admission. A ticket giveaway means a chance to win entry, while free admission means no ticket draw or purchase is needed.
That difference matters in Irving because the free local programs admit the public directly, while the concert contests restrict who may enter.

Free admission or chance to win?
Free admission gives entry without a draw. A contest gives only a chance to win a set number of tickets, often with age, location, and date limits. Readers should check which type an Irving listing offers before planning travel.
For Irving, the Arts Center programs and Frost Fest fall in the free-admission group. The ZZ Top and Cheap Trick radio offer for the Irving Pavilion fell in the chance-to-win group, for two tickets. Treat those categories differently when comparing time and cost.
What is free at Irving Arts Center?
The Irving Arts Center states that it offers free year-round events including stage performances, storytelling, exhibitions and hands-on art for children and families, in partnership with Irving Public Library, according to the free programs listing. That makes it the most usable local option for families seeking no-cost entry. No ticket draw is involved.
Readers can check the current Arts Center calendar for times and any reservation step, then arrive with the usual parking and seating limits for free public events.
What does Frost Fest offer in Irving?
The City of Irving's annual Frost Fest at Levy Event Plaza, 501 E. Las Colinas Blvd., Irving, is a free winter festival with snow tubing hills, train rides and bounce houses, according to the Frost Fest event page. It suits readers who want outdoor seasonal activities without ticket cost.
As an annual winter event, dates and activity lines change by year. Check the current city or plaza listing before going for hours, weather rules, and ride height or age limits.
Why did an Irving concert contest exclude Irving residents?
The sponsor's contest rules offered two tickets to the ZZ Top and Cheap Trick concert on Oct. 4, 2026 at the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, with Live Nation as provider, according to the contest rules. The same rules limited entry to Texas residents age 18 or older living in Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hill, Limestone, McLennan or Milam counties, void elsewhere.
That county list is the key limit for Irving readers: Irving residents who want no-entry, no-purchase options can use Arts Center free programs and Frost Fest instead.
- Benefit was a chance to win two concert tickets, not free admission.
- Entrant had to be 18 or older and live in one of the eight listed counties.
- Irving residents outside that area were not eligible to enter that draw.
- The Oct. 4 concert date has passed, so do not treat it as a current entry.
