Best Event Ticket Giveaways in Chesapeake, VA: 2026 Local Guide

The verified 2026 event ticket giveaways for Chesapeake, VA, are two chance-to-win radio drawings and several free-admission city events. FM99 WNOR, licensed in Chesapeake, listed drawings for Clutch tickets and Suffolk Peanut Festival tickets, while Chesapeake city sources listed free admission for selected public events. A drawing is a chance to win, not a certain ticket.

Free admission means no ticket purchase at entry, which is different from winning a ticket through entry.

Which radio drawings offer event tickets?

Saga Communications FM99 WNOR listed a drawing for Win Tickets to Clutch, with winners picking up prizes at 870 Greenbrier Circle Suite 399 in Chesapeake or receiving e-tickets by email, according to the entry page for Clutch tickets. An e-ticket is an electronic ticket delivered by email and shown on a phone. The same station listed a drawing for Win Tickets to Suffolk Peanut Festival with the same Chesapeake studio pickup and e-ticket transfer process, according to the entry page for Suffolk Peanut Festival tickets.

Check each entry page before entering because dates, concert venues, and ticket quantities can change.

What are the entry and redemption limits?

Saga Communications FM99 WNOR general contest rules state that no purchase is necessary and set eligibility and entry limits, according to the station contest rules. The rules also allow prize substitution of comparable value. Read the limits beside each entry form and keep proof of entry:

• Enter only as often as the listed entry limit allows.
• Confirm age, residency, and pickup rules before you enter.
• Expect pickup at the Chesapeake studio or delivery by email, as listed.
• Understand that a substituted prize may replace the listed tickets.

Which city events include free admission?

The upcoming option as of October 27, 2026, is Chesapeake's Holiday Craft Show on November 21, 2026, at Chesapeake Conference Center, 700 Conference Center Drive. The City of Chesapeake calendar listing describes free admission, free parking, and a free shopping bag while supplies last, according to the City of Chesapeake calendar listing. That show is a certain free benefit, not a drawing.

Arrive early if the shopping bag matters because "while supplies last" limits the extra to early shoppers. Other 2026 city events show how free admission is usually framed. City of Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism listed Symphony Under the Stars on September 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

on Bagley Stage in Chesapeake City Park, with free admission and parking. The City of Chesapeake listed Charter to Chesapeake on June 20-21, 2026, at Battlefield Park with free public admission plus a free shuttle from City Hall, while museum admission was separate.

How do limited extras and paid events work?

Limited extras reward early arrival rather than every attendee. The City of Chesapeake listed a free History Walk Passport at Charter to Chesapeake, redeemable for a prize while supplies last. Paid festivals may still include narrow free categories.

Chesapeake Jubilee listed the 43rd Chesapeake Jubilee on May 14-17, 2026, at Chesapeake City Park, with day passes covering grounds and concerts. Children 3 and under entered free, while unlimited ride wristbands were $30-$35. Use the distinction when planning costs: free admission covers entry, but rides, museum entry, food, and parking at some venues can remain separate.

For the November craft show, bring your own bag in case the free bags run out.
