See which Omaha beauty opportunities remain relevant in 2026—and which prizes are expired, conditional, or unconfirmed.

As of August 13, 2026, no active Omaha-specific beauty giveaway can be verified. Visit Omaha reports that it has no active giveaways, and the other documented opportunities involve events, an education program, or expired promotions. Here, "beauty giveaway" means a chance to receive cosmetics, services, gift cards, or related prizes without buying the prize itself.

Omaha readers still have several opportunities worth monitoring, but each has important limits.

What is available now?

The clearest current beauty opportunity is Capitol Beauty School's free "Behind the Beauty" program. It is open to people of high-school age and older, with registration requested for in-person sessions. Participants who attend every quarterly session and complete the surveys may be considered for a $500 quarterly scholarship.

This is a conditional education opportunity, not a random prize drawing or an automatic award. The school lists remaining sessions for August 20, September 17, October 15, November 19, and December 17, 2026. Because Capitol Beauty School warns that dates can change, confirm the schedule before attending.

Do Omaha wedding shows offer beauty prizes?

The Omaha Wedding Show is scheduled for August 16, 2026, at Hilton Omaha. It includes hair, makeup, and spa vendors and advertises opportunities to win prizes. However, the Omaha Wedding Show event page does not identify a beauty-specific prize or publish entry rules.

Attend only if the broader wedding event interests you, rather than assuming a beauty prize will be available. The Nebraska Bridal & Wedding Expo is scheduled for September 13, 2026, at CHI Health Center Omaha. Its page says attendees may seek prizes at exhibitor booths, which means availability may depend on individual exhibitors.

A previous prize is not a 2026 confirmation

The Nebraska expo page displays prizes from its previous event, including a $200 Mary Kay gift card. That gift card is not confirmed for the September 2026 Omaha show. The organizer says it will post a new giveaway list separately.

Until that happens, treat every displayed prior-event prize as an example, not a promised prize for this event. Before spending time or money to attend, check the expo's current prizes and giveaways page for a newly dated list. Also look for entry instructions, eligibility terms, drawing times, and whether winners must remain on-site.

Which Ulta promotions no longer count?

Ulta's April 4, 2026 Benefit "Blush Rush" event in Omaha was not a sweepstakes. It featured demonstrations and possible gifts, samples, or purchase-linked offers, subject to availability and differences between events. Omaha residents also could enter Ulta's nationwide Isima sweepstakes, but it closed July 9, 2026.

It accepted U.S. residents age 18 or older except residents of Alaska and Hawaii, and selected one winner from the combined entrant pool. Neither promotion belongs on an active Omaha giveaway list.

One was a past store event with conditional extras; the other was an expired national drawing rather than an Omaha-only contest.

How to check a new listing before entering

A promotion can be local without reserving a winner for Omaha. Read the terms before sharing personal information, buying admission, or making a purchase.

  • Confirm that the entry deadline has not passed.
  • Check whether Omaha or Nebraska residents are eligible.
  • Separate free entry from gifts or offers requiring a purchase.
  • Look for the prize description, winner count, age requirement, and drawing method.
  • For event prizes, verify whether admission, registration, or on-site presence is required.
